The thumbnail and sketches on week 3

This thumbnail is the one that my classmate is my art model.


I was still working on the pie piper concept. The bone behind the skull is also a pied pipe. There is a silhouette of pied piper on the left eye.

One on one meeting 2

My tutor indicated that there is an issue of clarity on my work.
She advised that i can draw an experiment table or show the rat on a target screen on the image to present a scene that an robotic flea using for controlling mice is in process. The second picture is much more matching to my concept.




This time she suggested me to look at Arthur Rackham's work for inspiration and searching artworks of watercolour& ink.

This two images below is supposed to be the final piece without colour. I plan to combine them together with photoshop at the end. The image shows that the robotic flea is the reason of Black Death. It controls rats to attack human being. The second image is supposed to be the background of the first image. According to the page size, i am not be able to  draw it in one piece.
